“A rock pile ceases to be a rock pile the moment a single man contemplates it, bearing within him the image of a cathedral.”
― Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, The Little Prince
I haven't written a 'What They Said Monday' in a while and I happened upon this quote and it gave me some inspiration to pick up an old novel. I thought how true this is. This collection of pages of my writing ceases to be just a hastily written compilation of crap the moment I pick it up and begin work anew on it with the vision of it becoming a masterpiece. It's all about having a vision of the possibilities, of the promise that something ordinary holds of someday becoming something great.
