Word of the Day: Moor

What a lovely day to be out on the lake. It is just so peaceful and calm out here. The gentle rocking of the boat as it sways back forth as the waves gently roll underneath. And look at that sky, so blue, I honestly do not think I have seen a bluer sky than this one today. And not a cloud to be seen. Look how the sky just blends into the lake off in the horizon, one would be hard pressed to know where the sky began and the lake ended. It will be such a pity when we have to go back to shore and moor the boat for the evening.

Moor (moor) \MOOR\
1. To fix firmly; secure
2. To secure (a ship, boat, dirigible, etc.) in a particular place, as by cables and anchors or by lines
3. To moor a ship, small boat, etc.
4. To be made secure by cables of the like

1. The act of mooring

What a restful day that was. Do make sure to tie the boat down securely. We don't want the boat floating away because it was not moored correctly. Do make sure to share all you have seen here today. And please share with use your experiences. Thank you.
